Hello dear friends! Today we are in for a very unexpected journey into the world of the past, into the world of the nostalgic. Of course, nostalgic feelings can evoke completely different things for each of us. For some, it can be grandmother’s cheesecakes, for others – dancing and dancing in the palace of culture, and for the third it is some kind of curiosity, for example, a painted felt boot presented by Santa Claus or the first meeting with an enlightened person under an ancient banyan tree somewhere in the vastness of Hindustan , well, you never know …
Think for a second, what causes this pleasant feeling for you personally? Are you tuned in? It would be interesting for me to find out, so if you think about sharing, then write your thoughts in the comments, and Vinyl Villain will then read and be touched, giving himself a moment of bright joy and pure pleasure, and then he will definitely turn these feelings into the common good in one way or another: )
And also, for example, similar feelings are born when watching your favorite films or when listening to soundtracks to them. One gets the feeling that our today’s six-armed and three-eyed audio pilot has decided to do just such a thing – recalling memories through association with old films.
Juno Reactor is well known to all fans of the psy-trance scene, as the pioneer of goa trance from the distant 90s. Cassettes of his recordings could be found in any respectable booth selling electronic music along with Hallucinogen and Infected Mushroom. And now, many years and wonderful tracks later, steadily changing and improving in 2018, Juno Reactor again releases a new disc, retaining the title of the pioneer of electronic music.
The combination of classical psy-trance with old-school techno sends the listener to fight with imaginary enemies in the worlds of Terminator, Matrix and Hackers, and ethnic motives will give the chance to smoke a pipe of peace with a shaman who knows being, then sip mezcal and wave a saber as much as he can, and dance to carve a psycho-letter saber Z in the place of the next feat.
Then you can put on a wetsuit and dive under the thickness of the Arctic ice in company with the Finnish freediver Joanna Nordblad, whose voice sounds on the track The Sky Is Blue The Sky Is Black and with a sense of accomplishment set off on Voyager to surf the universe.
An amazing variety of visual images emerge in the mind while listening to this wonderful record, forcing the consciousness to expand in all directions in time, space and other dimensions. Just take a look at what this music of the musicians themselves brought – a live performance that embodies all the powers of imagination and creativity that led to what, in general, was called The Mutant Theater. The costumes would be envied, I think, by Kraftwerk themselves, and I would give all 4200 boxes of KeCe to see this Theater of Mutants with my own eyes.
Well, the main thing is to want, because our thoughts are the initial impulses that make the quantum engine of the universe buzz and rattle, beat and flip, giving out what we call reality at the output. So one day … one day … In the meantime, let’s enjoy this record lovingly digitized for you by Vinila Vanila together. I hope it will awaken in you as much positive energy as in me. I wish you all a good mood.
Sincerely yours, Vynil Villain.
